Welcome to the brand hotspot of Leiden. Brasserie de Poort is the perfect place to relax after a nice walk through the Singelpark or during a visit to the city. The day starts with a good breakfast. And the rest of the day and evening it stays relaxed during lunch, drinks and dinner. Together you can enjoy fresh juices and lemonades or one of the delicious coffee specialties from our special coffee bar. City gate in the middle of the park by the water

Our beautiful brasserie is located in one of the last two city gates that Leiden still has. Due to the fantastic location on the Singelpark route and by the water, you always feel the holiday vibes. Whatever the weather is; every season has its own charm. The interior of De Poort is inspired by our outdoor space. Lots of greenery, with beautiful interior items. And the great thing is, much of what you see in our interior is for sale at our neighbors. Are you coming by boat? There is enough space for several boats. Don't have a boat, but would you like to see Leiden from the water? Then let us arrange a nice boat trip for you.

Do you have something to celebrate? The ‘Poortwachterszaal’ on the first floor is perhaps the most beautiful space in Leiden, perfect for parties, and it has access to its own roof terrace that overlooks the park and the water. Our staff has more than 20 years of experience with the organization of the most beautiful parties and will help you organize the perfect event for any occasion.
